The window to adjust advance payments from overseas buyers has also been increased to three years, up from one year.The relief comes as exporters to the U.S. struggle with additional duties linked to imports associated with Russian oil, leading to delayed settlement cycles and tighter scrutiny in global supply chains.A separate circular to lenders - including banks, cooperatives and NBFCs - outlines operational relief. Exporters with standard export credit as of August 31 may receive a four-month moratorium on instalments and interest from September 1 to December 31.Interest during this period will accrue only as simple interest and may be converted into a separate loan repayable between April and September 2026.Banks may also reduce margins, recalculate drawing power and offer up to 450 days to repay pre-shipment and post-shipment credit.
